I used GCC on my Amiga for my Uni project because the orginal source code I
hacked about was for GCC (Unix).

Don't use GCC - I had all kinds of hard disk crashes throughout the project
- I was using FFS at the time, which meant I had to wait for the Hard drive
to validate itself. I've now removed GCC because I never got on with it.
The more recent versions may actually be a lot better - I was using the
latest version as of about 3 years ago, I'd expect it's been improved since
then, but I would *never* go back to using it.

Get DICE from dev/c on Aminet - I prefer it to Storm C - it is a lot less
picky in terms of error messages than Storm, and GCC, and the error
messages you do get are a lot more helpful than GCC.
